My music and films are colored by my surroundings;
the Irish landscape with its ever-rolling hills and restless seas, the mythical backdrop of my native Transylvania and the optimism of my adopted home of California.
Ingrid Serban is a Romanian/American musician and filmmaker who began her film journey with nothing but an iPhone 4, a few friends and an idea.
Four years later, her work is featured in The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, The Hollywood Reporter, and Egyptian Streets. She has spent the past decade as President of Goat Lips Productions, specializing in developing and producing both short and full-length narrative films and documentaries.
Previously, Ingrid served as Vice President of Painted Sun Records.
She has written and directed several award-winning short films, a feature documentary (“Free Trip to Egypt” - 2019) with a second feature documentary in post production (“Strigoi: the Real Vampires of Transylvania” )
Ingrid has composed and performed the scores for her short films and is in the process of releasing her first studio album of original songs.

a documentary about real vampires
“Strigoi, the Real Vampires of Transylvania” will capture the essence of the land, of the people and of the vampire myth that has occupied our psyches for millennia. The music score will be recorded in Romania with local musicians whose songs have been passed down from generation to generation.
This documentary will be a testament to those things that do not fall apart with time, some of which are vampires.
