GIIA Forum: Impact Investing Debate
The Forum brings students together with academic, private, public, and IO sector professionals, to explore diverse topics within impact investing and sustainable finance. It enables networking, promotes education, and stimulates insightful discussion to enable the growth of youth in the sustainable finance and impact investing industry.

The GIIA Impact Investing Debate will explore arguments of impact investing's efficacy in comparison to other social impact and finance tools, and brings critical thinking to this theme's discussion!

Our debate teams are composed of IHEID students. The debate will be judged by a panel of 3 guests: Kali Taylor, Managing Director of Sustainable Finance Geneva, Nathan Sussman, professor of IHEID, director of Centre for Finance and Development, and Co-director of the MA In Sustainable Finance and Development, and Theirry Buchs, IHEID visiting professor in International Economics.
